One of the most common questions I am asked is what supplies do I use when creating my art. To help fellow creatives out there I thought I would create a list of supplies for you. These will be affiliate links, I may as well earn a few pennies from the companies I regularly buy from and recommend.
If you would prefer you can just head straight to my Amazon storefront where you can see what I buy for my business. I only put recommended products here, if I haven't liked something I will not include it. The products below are my most requested but I will do more blog posts in the future to talk about other products I love and why I love them.
The first thing I need to include are my acrylic pens. These are the top product which I am asked about. I once did a test to see what was better, Jeffniub or Posca pens. Jeffniub didn't smudge when varnished so I now only use these. If you see me drawing on a canvas or a rescued sculpture then it is these pens that I am using.
The second most asked question is what paints do I use. I went on a course last year where they used these two brands and I instantly fell in love. I find painting so much easier since I invested in these and now I can't get enough. The first being Winsor and Newton Galeria Acrylic. I have used Winsor and Newton for years as I used to buy their watercolour paints. I also have their amazing travel set which I adore and use regularly, I love it so much I even bought one for my daughter.

The second brand of paint I love is Amsterdam. I actually think these are the best I have used so far. It glides beautifully across the canvas, blends well and is high pigment with strong colours. I love it.
Modelling paste is another product I am asked about. I haven't done much research into this as I bought this Mont Marte Modelling paste and it has worked well for me so I haven't felt the need to try others. I use this on my textured artworks. It worked exceptionally well when creating mountains for my painting 'The stars Who Listen'.

The last thing I would like to share with you on this post is my most recent purchase. I bought these brushes after trying many others and feeling disappointed. I suffer with carpel tunnel and intense work can cause me tremendous pain so I need to work with different sized brushes to help reduce the risk of swelling. These are wide and help paint large surface areas, I absolutely love them and highly recommend them. I also use regular kitchen sponges to help blend but have used them less since I bought these brushes.
